Wow! What an experience! ICF World Championships 2024 done
Sadly today my body was not playing ball which is not unsurprising after yesterday. We had to scratch starting which I’m gutted about but it was the right thing for me to do.
Less than 8 weeks ago I could not climb my stairs at home and had to live in the lounge with my parents caring for me. To get up that mountain yesterday all be it by far the quickest time was genuinely the biggest achievement of my life and I’m glad I shared it with my Wolfe. He listened to every command and kept me safe the entire way round.
This is not a poor me post, it’s a post to remind me when life gets hard again I can make it through the other side.Thank you to everyone who sent messages , voice notes and comments. They have ment the world to Wolfe and I. A huge thank you to Jake for driving me all the way and helping and to my parents and uncle and Aunty for coming to watch. I think we did you proud even if on paper we were far from the best in the world
For now we have a few more days in Italy and then home to get training again - Our Mojo is back!!!
