Day 5. First day of racing!! Gemma was out at 7.59 so we had an early start! I warmed Wolfe up while Gemma got ready and I actually jogged!! Something I've not done in quite a while! Wolfe was an absolute legend and Gemma came in saying it was the best he had ever raced! We cooled him off between us before heading out to help and watch others.
We had realised in the morning that the gas bottle on the van had run out so one of the team offered to take us to find another, which turned into quite a mission! Plus side was we got to drive around a bit and see the town and we learnt that a jubilee clip in Czech is a 'sponkle' the best word ever!
The rest of the afternoon was spent watching the various categories race, eating what we thought was going to be a pizza....but it really wasn't, and the mushers meal in the evening.
