Meet Clarice the Borzoi!!
Back in February Clarice was diagnosed with SRMA, Steroid-Responsive Meningitis-Arteritis. This is an immune-mediated inflammatory disease in dogs where the immune system mistakenly attacks the membranes and blood vessels surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
Clarice was obviously seriously unwell but responded well to treatment and slowly recovered, but as a result lost all her muscle and strength. Her owner was keen to find a way to help regain her previous show standard physique and set about regular hydrotherapy sessions, before finding my conditioning classes. She has now completed the 6 week foundation course and her overall muscle tone and posture has improved vastly! Such a pleasure to watch this transformation
